What are your COVID-19 PROTOCOLS?
Since the start of the pandemic, we have always placed the safety of our attendees, exhibitors, guests, volunteers and staff as the foremost concern when considering “how C4 moves forward in these strange times.” With a cancelation and two reschedules since our last show, it has taken a lot to be able to confidently proclaim that Cherry Capital Comic Con has returned. With details, opinions, and guidance changing so frequently over the past year and a half, it has been a challenge to find a comfort level where we are balancing what we feel are necessary precautions with common sense. These challenges are not unique to us; large scale events across the world have had to navigate similar murky waters with a return to operations in the time of Covid.
We acknowledge there are a number of differing opinions out there regarding Covid protocols, and that an option just does not exist with which everyone will agree. We understand the opposing points of view and ask that you respect and understand the challenges we face in keeping the show as safe and as accessible for as many fans as possible. We hope you will join us for what is shaping up to be a fantastic return to comic conventions, but respect your decision should you choose not to attend- we hope that you will join us for future shows!
The following measures will be in place for the duration of C4 2021, and apply to all attendees, exhibitors, guests, volunteers, and staff:
Face Coverings & Social Distancing
-Masks, worn correctly over nose and mouth, are required for all attendees, guests, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff.
-Masks may be removed temporarily while eating or drinking.
-Masks may be removed temporarily for photos with guests/exhibitors.
-Each guest has their own level of comfort regarding mask removal during photo ops. Please respect the wishes of those you are asking to take photos with.
-Medical exemptions not allowed.
-Masks must be worn by children ages 5 and up. Younger than 5 will be at their parent’s discretion.
-Please plan ahead and bring a mask with you. We will have a limited supply in case yours is forgotten.
