Cherry Capital Comic Con is proud to welcome Jill Thompson to #TCC4Year10.

Jill Thompson is the most well-known, female comic book artist working in the comics industry today. She has risen to the top of the male-dominated field and has garnered acclaim for her work on WONDER WOMAN, SWAMP THING, BLACK ORCHID and the award winning title, THE SANDMAN with Neil Gaiman.

Jill’s first children’s book, The Scary Godmother, was released to critical acclaim and earned her the Eisner award for Best Painter in 2001. Scary Godmother’s popularity also spawned two animated television specials and a successful Kickstarter campaign for a Scary Godmother fashion doll.

Jill enjoys working with different writers and artists and has even ventured into the world of professional wrestling by collaborating with Mick Foley as the artist on Mick Foley’s Halloween Hijinx. She also designed the ring attire for the “American Dragon” Daniel Bryan.

We hope you come out to meet Jill and a plethora of other creators, vendors, and guests as 104.5 BOB FM and 9&10 News present Cherry Capital Comic Con, May 25-27, 2018 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.
